I was brought on as a project director consultant to direct the permanent exhibit for the Digital Museum of the History of Japanese in New York (2024). I proofread English/Japanese translations, designed wire-frames and the overall user interface, uploaded content, and created metadata.
I also researched national grants for museums/nonprofits, wrote grant narratives, and submitted grant applications. I provided technical writing services by monitoring and reporting on their Google Console and Google Analytics instance.

Curated, described, and installed Reclaiming Ohi:Yo’ - Restoring the Altered Landscape of the Beautiful River (2018), which tells the story of the Seneca Nation of Indians Allegheny Territory's river, climate change, and Seneca resilience. This is a permanent exhibit at the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum, Seneca Nation of Indians.

I argued that archives have an accessibility problem for federal recognition researchers (Indigenous peoples or peers researching archives for the point of gaining/keeping a tribes federal recognition status). This article went on to receive the 2024 Fellows' Ernst Posner Award from the Society of American Archivists.
Op-ed Article: Why the Disconnect and Dissonance of the DAM Fragmentation Crisis Matters (2025)
Published in DAM News (the oldest digital asset management trade publication), I argued that DAMS are fragmented, fragile frameworks that rely on connecting to systems that organizations have no control over or ability to adequately invest in. DAMs that attempt to become an organization’s entire digital ecosystem–the complete set of different digital repositories, productivity apps, and other computer systems–fall short because the cost of maintenance isn’t sustainable or realistic.
