I reviewed and assessed data management systems, vetted and recommended new ones, and migrated data from CollectiveAccess to TMS Collections and ArchivEra. This project involved project management, DAM, systems administration, development, configuring VPNs and SFTP access via remote tunnels, reindexing via the command line, vendor negotiations, and technical writing.

An original data science community archive project – which won two LEADING Fellowships and an honorable mention for Library Juice Press’ Vattemare Award, several data conference speaking engagements, was worked into a hands-on high school workshop, and has over 700 video game playthroughs on itch.io.

I was brought on as a project director consultant to direct the permanent exhibit for the Digital Museum of the History of Japanese in New York (2024). I proofread English/Japanese translations, designed wire-frames and the overall user interface, uploaded content, and created metadata.
I also researched national grants for museums/nonprofits, wrote grant narratives, and submitted grant applications. I provided technical writing services by monitoring and reporting on their Google Console and Google Analytics instance.

Curated, described, and installed Reclaiming Ohi:Yo’ - Restoring the Altered Landscape of the Beautiful River (2018), which tells the story of the Seneca Nation of Indians Allegheny Territory's river, climate change, and Seneca resilience. This is a permanent exhibit at the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum, Seneca Nation of Indians.
I also wrote grant narratives, updated and rewrote the archival processing manual for staff, worked and met with Seneca community members/tribal government departments.
