i'm an indie developer for back-end & front-end of systems and indie games

I specialize in Python, UX/UI Design, & CMS/DAM system development. I've worked with systems like DSpace, contentDM, ePADD, Archive-It, Preservica, ArchiveSpace, ArchivEra, CollectiveAccess, TMS, Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, NetX, WordPress, Krita, PhotoShop, OpenToonz, Toon Boom, Maya, After Effects, Blender, and more.

I edited the front-end user interface of systems using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I collaboratively programmed, used Git, debugged code, queried APIs, and cleaned data with scripts, Excel, LibreOffice, and OpenRefine. I used MySQL Workbench to export and analyze data.

I've performed database maintenance like reindexing via the command line to fix broken/missing search results & ran system updates. I've maintained user roles in databases, set up user permissions, and managed user requests to confidential records/assets/collections in databases.

I created and documented system data architecture by creating technical system maps, tracing data movements across systems and data layers, and installing configurations. I designed data entity relationship maps and metadata schemas per technical standards and in-house data needs.

I've diagnosed network security issues related to the firewall or VPN. I set up SFTP and remote connections to virtual servers, databases, finding aids and library research guides, and client devices for remote digital asset transfers.

I've developed websites, apps, databases & systems, digital museum exhibits, & video games.

I developed the back-end of custom and vendor DAMS, CMS, ILS, and digital repositories like WordPress, CollectiveAccess, Omeka, contentDM, Archive-It, and other MySQL-based systems. I've mapped end-to-end data profiles, configured out-of-the-box settings in JavaScript and the command line, & set up data export profiles.

Starting in 2023, I developed indie video games and interactive designs for PC, Mac, and iOS in Ren'Py(Python-based), Godot, GameMaker, and Twine using Python, GDScript, and GML scripting languages. I've shipped 7 games on itch.io and worked with teams of 1-20+ as a Game Producer, Programmer, Writer, & Artist.
